Every Student Learns Outside™

Where the natural world becomes your classroom ...

Project Learning Tree offers multi-disciplinary tools and resources for educators who want their students to learn about the natural world … by being there.

Total Program

PLT designs activities to suit different learning styles, and to meet national and state standards.  All activities feature reading and technology connections, clear objectives and assessments strategies -- as well as links to community resources.

Hands-On Curriculum

Activities for all grade levels teach core subjects through experiences in nature.

At the Secondary Level

PLT challenges students to explore contemporary and pressing environmental issues – from the inside to the outside.

Professional Development

One day or multi-session trainings get educators comfortable and skilled in taking their students outside.

Service Learning

Through GreenWorks!, PLT provides grants to educators who take their students outside where they can learn about their environment, and work to improve it.
